The main focus of this meeting will be mobile Internet and its opportunities for monetization. Fring’s approach is to provide full set of free live IM /VoIP services through a mobile application that is becoming one of the standard means of mobile communication. Nokia Siemens Networks is providing infrastructure and services for the growing needs of mobile Internet portal and off-portal traffic; Economedia will show the publishers’ perspective on the new opportunities that mobile web offers and the challenges of setting-up and maintaining one of Bulgaria’s most popular mobile web media.

Elenko will share experience on building the mobile version of Dnevnik.bg and its newest addition – the mobile movie and TV guide dnevnik.bg/sled5. You’ll also be able to see a future Economedia project called Dnevnik L!ve.
The presentation will also focus on how to fit a “normal” website on a mobile screen, what traffic to expect and how to plan for the Bulgarian market.
Elenko works for Economedia – the largest business information publisher in Bulgaria – a company that has iPhone versions of their websites since January 2008, even before iPhone was officially here.
